WHY WE EXIST

New Hope Worship Center was God’s idea. In 1994, the Lord spoke to Pastor Joe and Ronna Ferguson to start a new church in the Franklin County, NC area.

The first NHWC meetings were held in a home living room, which quickly grew into the need for expansion, leading the church to remodel a former bar into a house of worship!

Just years after, NHWC expanded yet again to our current location and facilities on Pearces Road. It's been amazing to be a part of what the Lord has done from it's birth!

We exist to bring new hope to those who are broken, hurting, and need a changed life.

We exist to encourage others to have a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We exist to help others to find and fulfill their destiny that Jesus has for their lives.

We are a church family of all races of people, loving one another. 

We love God by loving others, we serve God by serving others.
